Some more Epic Warpath action. These Mantic Games rules must be one of the best sci fi wargame rule systems on the market. Very sophisticated and streamlined. Highly recommended! In this game the technologically advanced Asterians narrowly defeated 'the Plague', who just ran out of steam by the end.
This is our first trial run of Mantic Games new 'Epic Warpath' wargame system. Set in the Warpath Universe, it is in c.10mm scale and allows you to field reasonable sized armies whilst finishing a game in a few hours. The miniatures are great, but the rule set is what impressed us most - sleek gameplay with enough faction and special rules to keep everything interesting. I'm sure we'll see this system played here again!
