This game of Age of Sigmar went down to the wire, with the one remaining lowly 'Gutrippa' from an Ork infantry unit rolling boxcars to generate two critical mortal hits to do the impossible, and fell a Stormcast Eternal hero. One of the most dramatic finales to a game that we have seen in a long time.
In a nail-biting encounter, both sides fought each other to a gory standstill. The diseased depravity of Nurgle meets the oafish brutality of the Mawtribes:
Some grotesque spurting of 'vile bile' was witnessed in this battle set in the Mortal Realms. The denizens of Nurgle inflict a surprise defeat upon the highly sophisticated and civilised Ogor Mawtribes... (?!).
Some of the most utterly disgusting and replant monstrosities to be found anywhere in the Mortal Realms met in this brutal clash.
Ultimately the Ogors overcame the Moggotkin folks, despite losing their commander in the first turn.
A bloody match up between the gluttonous Ogor Mawtribes and the Stormcast Eternals. The Stormcasts won a narrow victory on points. Despite loosing more of their army, the ability to deploy half of their units off table for later deployment, enabled the Stormcasts to appear in the rear of the Ogors, taking hold of their enemy's home objectives.
