The Tau Empire make their first appearance on this 40K battlefield, pitted, as they were, against the ruthless Death Guard. Tau fire power eventually wasted enough of the Death Guard units away to secure a couple of convincing wins in these 1,500 point match-ups.
Probably the most grimdark, 'out-there', '40K-ish' Warhammer 40,000 armies faced off against each other. 1,000 points on a 4' x 4' table.
This was more enjoyable and manageable than the 2,000 point slogging matches of old.
More importantly, they look cool and were fun to paint!
A giant abandoned space hulk is fought over by roaming bands of scavenging bands of Dark Eldar and renegade teams of Space Marines.
