  1. Hi, I'm new to wargaming and looking to come along next Monday. Does anyone use team Yankee or ww3 systems? As an x 17/21 lancer would be nice to be British lancers.

  2. Hi,
Yes, I've just got into Team Yankee. There should be a few there on Monday. Hopefully see you then.

  3. Hi! I returned to the UK not so long ago and am travelling around sussing out different places with an eye to settling somewhere. I hope to be in Nottingham within the next few weeks and would love to come along. Are you still meeting?

And do any <15mm historicals get a look-in? I love Black Powder settings and, despite having got rid of all my miniatures when I moved abroad, would love to get started in 6mm or 10mm with something!

  4. We play a whole range of different periods and scales. You'd be very welcome to come along and get involved.

  5. Just saw/caught your Delium refight. Lovely figures!

Thought you might like to take a look at this effort, though it holds no candle to your recent representation.

Cheers and thanks for posting on TMP!

  6. Hi, I'm looking for a club where I can play skirmish wargames, Frostgrave and Stargrave mainly, how popular are they at the club? I've recently got into Xenos Rampant also but haven't sufficient models for a warband yet.

  7. Hello. Do you have a list of games that are played regularly to hand?

  8. A few of us play Stargrave.
Essentially a list of the games that we play would be the games mentioned in the posts that appear every couple of weeks. Last night, for instance, we had Flames of War, Pikeman's Lament ECW and Firefight sci fi.

  11. Hi! I’m completely new to wargaming but it’s something I’ve always fancied trying out, would it be okay to come down and find out what it’s all about?

  12. Yes, no problem. 7pm on Monday nights would be a good time to drop in.

  13. Hi
I’m an active DBA and Hott player (in Hampshire), and have an unusual request:
on Fanaticus, the DBA Forum, one Stevie Andrews was a regular contributor. I played him a few times at tournaments around the Midlands…nice chap, always friendly. We think he was from the Nottingham area, and played at a club in/around there.
Since mid-late October lat year he has suddenly disappeared ‘off radar’, very unlike him. Would anyone at your club have any news about Stevie? We’re hoping he’s OK but are struggling to find anything out.
    Thanks for reading
    Martin S.

    1. Hi Martin. I'm afraid we don't know of a Stevie Andrews, so unfortunately we can't help you out here. Best of luck with your search though. Hope he turns up.
