Dead Man’s Hand - A Confused shoot Out

Some Wild Wild West action this evening. A gang of outlaws attempt to steal bags of money earmarked as the salaries for a group of cowboys. The Lawmen were tipped off and managed to interrupt the heist, whilst a group of trigger happy, semi-drunk cowboys went along for the ride.

By the end of the gunfight a couple of outlaws had escaped with some of the money. Most of the Lawmen lay dead or injured (a number having been shot by excitable cowboys). Most of the cowboys survived the action, although they were not in a fit state to understand what had just happened.

These rules received a lot of positive comments throughout the evening. They do give you the feel of the American West and provide some cinematic moments.

Imaginations, Kaiserbosh and Midgard

In an 'Imaginations' the two waring factions of the 'Basque Civil War' - the 'Constitutional Republicans' versus the 'Republican Constitutionalists' - went head to head. One side won. Which one, is anybody's guess.

Some vintage 20mm WWI action using Kaiserbosh rules, dating from 1992, which saw a British victory over...well, the Kaiser's "Bosh".

We also had Carthaginians versus Celts in another Midgard game. The Punic army was victorious because (or despite) of fielding a war elephant.
