Monday Games - Napoleonics and WWII

A couple of games were hosted on Monday night,

In a Napoleonics battle, a Prussian army narrowly defeated a French force by holding out against  a number of surging French attack columns.

In the WWII Flames of War game, a British Comet Squadron was badly beaten by a German force consisting of Panthers and Jagdpanthers. Nevertheless, a game highlight was when a Piat team broke cover, ran out and KO’d a Jagdpanther with a side shot in a ‘Hail Mary’ attempt to win the game in the final turn - ultimately to no avail.

WWII 1941 - Desert Action

A rare event - a German attacking force was blown away by British 2pdrs. The humble 2pdr didn’t let everyone down, as it usually does. Some nice 20mm vehicles and figures on display Rules used were Rapid Fire!

Monday Evening Games - Byzantines and WWII

Well turned out Byzantines chase off some really annoying Arabs in this Lion Rampant game. Some great shield transfers on show here from Little Big Men.

Late war Germans see off an overly confident Soviet attacker, with some awesome King Tigers making a rare appearance :

Monday Games - Byzantines Make and Appearance and Comets vs Panthers

There were three games at the club on Monday night - Medieval, using Lion Rampant and two Flames of War WWII games, one mid war, one late.

The Byzantines defeated the Normans in this classic medieval face-off. A German SS formation narrowly defeated a British Comet formation and a swarm of Honeys was witnessed in the mid war game.
